What a great way to kick off another year of Greene-Calhoun CEO business visits!

Our first business visit took the class to Greene Fields Farm, where Regan Joehl shared the story of how an unexpected pumpkin harvest and a willingness to take a chance grew into the incredible agritourism business he and his wife, Christie, operate today.

Greene Fields Farm is such a great example of what CEO is all about…recognizing an opportunity, being willing to take a risk, adapting and growing along the way, and creating something that brings value to your community.

From pumpkins and apples to farm-raised products and family experiences, the Joehl family has continued to find new ways to grow their business while staying true to their agricultural roots.

A huge thank you to Regan and Christie for welcoming the students, sharing their story, and giving us the perfect start to the Greene-Calhoun CEO year. There’s no better classroom than our local businesses!
