The class visited Hurley Dodge in Hardin today where Tim Hurley told them how he and his partner, Mike Mortland, came to own the dealership. The dealership, which was opened in 1954 and has been passed down through three generations of family, sells Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.

Tim, Joe Ritter, and Judy Pohlman talked about the ins and outs of running a dealership and explained how the car sales business works. The students had some great questions about buying a vehicle and how the business plays into the local economy. I think everyone had a vehicle picked out that they wanted by the time we left…and no, boys, you cannot test drive a truck!
